Half term homework

Please learn any lines and song words that you have been given for our show as rehearsals will begin straight after the half term break.

We will also be learning about Costa Rica to mark the start of the World Cup so any information you can find out before then would be good too!

Research homework for tonight

In maths we are learning about money and having good financial sense. Tonight, the children need to find the actual prices of:
A pint of milk
A loaf of bread
A small pack of nappies
A box of cornflakes
(Supermarket own brands)

They could compare prices between brands and supermarkets if they want to.

In English, the children have begun researching a woodland animal and can continue to tonight to bring in tomorrow when they will be using their findings to write a non-chronological report. It is important that they find out as much as possible: what it looks like, what it eats, what it does and anything else that will make their writing stand out (e.g. Threats of hunting or extinction).

Look at what we have achieved!

Such a positive end to the term – our class came top of the school Accelerated Reader board this week. Good work!
Here are our star readers this term for meeting/exceeding their AR targets and others who have received Values awards, Superhero awards, and Housepoint awards.
One very proud teacher!
